Job description

At Futurewhiz, we create digital learning products that help children unlock their full potential. To keep our mission running smoothly, we’re looking for a hands-on Recruiter.

You’ll be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent across all teams while building a candidate experience that reflects who we are: fun, fast-moving, and purpose-driven.

This position is initially for one year, as we expect to evaluate our future recruitment needs during that time. Depending on the growth of our teams and hiring plans, there’s a possibility of extension after the first year.


About Futurewhiz, StudyGo and Squla

For 15 years, Futurewhiz has been the market leader in EdTech in the Netherlands. Our brands, including Squla and StudyGo, help children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 learn and grow at their own level and pace. Our mission is clear: "Empowering every child to grow". At Squla, children up to grade 8 practise all school subjects through fun quizzes and games. Everything has been developed by education experts and fits the Dutch education system.

Job requirements

What you’ll do

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding support.

  • Be a trusted partner to hiring managers: advising on profiles, market trends, and process improvements.

  • Drive employer branding initiatives, ensuring our social channels and content attract the right audience.

  • Build and maintain talent pools, with special attention to tech and product roles.

  • Safeguard compliance: make sure all offers, letters, and documentation are accurate and consistent.

  • Contribute to HR and People projects as needed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in recruitment (in-house or agency); tech recruitment is a plus.

  • Experience in employer branding and talent pooling.

  • Knowledge of immigration compliance (highly skilled migrants, 30%-rule).

  • Up-to-date understanding of job market and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset.

  • Tech-savvy (ATS, sourcing tools, and data dashboards).

  • English fluency required; Dutch is a strong plus.
