Short introduction into our international expansion

We have completed the first phase of testing (proposition & market test), including the fake-door experiment and user interviews, and the signals are positive. You will start preparing and launching Phase 2. In this phase you will launch the marketing website, platform (incl content) and setup the necessary marketing to validate both countries.

It’s good to keep in mind that the role is entrepreneurial in two ways: you will lead the international rollout (autonomy, building from scratch), but with that there is also the reality that a market may not prove viable, or, though less likely, that neither does. Even after a successful start, strategic or performance considerations could lead us to exit a market, in which case the role would conclude. The opportunity is big, but so are the uncertainties, and as Futurewhiz we want to be transparent about this.

In Phase 2, you will work very closely with the CEO. If Phase 2 is successful and we move to a full launch, the long-term reporting line will likely shift to the CCO, though the final setup will be defined at that stage.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the entire go-to-market plan for StudyGo in Belgium and/or Poland.

  • Ensure, as much as possible performed by yourself, that the marketing website, shop, and platform (incl content) are fully prepared and launched on time.

  • Work closely with Product & Tech to deliver the required minimal feature set for Phase 2.

  • Coordinate the creation of initial educational content (several chapters across 3–4 key subjects) with external authors and/ or local publishing companies which are part of our Infinitas group.

  • Set up and optimise performance marketing funnels (paid social, search, landing pages, analytics).

  • Build relationships and collaborate with local publishing partners (part of our Infinitas group) to leverage their school access and support content development.

  • Gather and analyse user insights (students, parents, teachers) and market data to refine the proposition.

  • If Phase 2 performs well, develop the scale-up plan for full market launch: commercial strategy, partnerships, growth roadmap, and resource needs.

  • Budget responsible (eg. marketing, content)
