    These platforms are built to address different age groups. This year we organised ourselves to address the customer journey seamlessly across different platforms. Now we are looking for a Principal Engineer who is passionate about solving complex problems to help shape the journey. You will be an individual contributor talking to various stakeholders to understand the challenges in the seamless customer journey and propose solutions and closely work with development teams to get it delivered.

    Job requirements

    What will you do as our Principal Engineer?


    • Shape the technical vision of the organisation and drive innovation by researching and evaluating emerging technologies, proposing and leading research and development initiatives, and introducing innovative solutions.

    • Develop technical solutions that span multiple platforms by taking into account the expectations from various stakeholders.

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and participate in design reviews

    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    • Empower teams with best practices of infrastructure and security so that highly scalable and secure systems can be built. Owns the security and infrastructure roadmap across the company

    • Proposes initial technical implementation which supports architectural changes that solve scaling and performance problems.

    • Proactively identifies opportunities to reuse or generalise existing services and product features. Avoids duplication of effort by encouraging collaboration.


    Key Qualifications

    • 6+ years of solid web application development experience

    • Strong knowledge in algorithms, data structures, object oriented design, and data modelling

    • Strong communication skill


    Preferred Qualifications

    • End to end development and deployment of large scale (distributed) system or full stack application

    • Hands on experience with infrastructure and security
