What are you going to do?

As Squla's UX Designer, your goal is to make our digital learning offering completely frictionless.  You will work closely with the wider team (Developers, product owners and data scientists) in an agile environment, delivering a consistent and seamless user experience from concept to release.  You'll collect user research and validate design concepts, as well as defining the information architecture, creating cross-device wireframes and clickable prototypes.

You have the magical ability to make children happy. You have affinity with education technology and designing for children, and you enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible environment. You have a critical but open minded attitude, and your communication is precise and effective.

What do we expect from you?

• Master’s degree in Communication, Media design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design or related studies;

• 4+ years experience in UX design/interaction design;

• Wizard-like skills to simplify apparent complexity;

• A keen eye for the fun in functionality;

• Experience interacting, validating and testing with end-users;

• Experience with design based on quantitative data (Google Analytics & A/B-testing);

• Experience using tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Jira and Trello;

• Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;

• Experience with educational technology and designing for kids is a plus;

• Experience with games and game design is a plus;

• A keen eye for visual design is a plus.
