UX Designer

Futurewhiz, known from Squla & WRTS, is starting something new for kids in grades 6-8 and we are looking for someone that wants to be part of building a great e-learning platform!

What will you do?

As a UX Designer, your goal is to enable children to get into a frictionless learning flow. You will be responsible for the user experience of our web platform, app and internal tools.

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Make design solutions for our educational platform, as well as for our internal tools;

  • Collect and analyse UX-relevant metrics and data;

  • Assess and optimise the performance of new and existing features by interpreting analytics data;

  • Conduct user research and validate design concepts;

  • Define the information architecture, creating cross-device wireframes and clickable prototypes;

  • Work closely with developers, the Product Owner, the Data Science team, the Marketing team, and the Content team in an agile environment to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience from concept to release.

Who are you?

We are on the lookout for a real UX talent, who has the magical ability to turn complex requirements into frictionless experiences. You have an affinity for education technology and designing for kids, and you enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible environment. You have a critical but open-minded attitude, and your communication is precise and effective.

In addition to this, you meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Communication, Media Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design or related studies;

  • 3+ years experience in UX design/interaction design;

  • Wizard-like skills to simplify apparent complexity;

  • Experience interacting, validating and testing with end-users;

  • Experience with designing based on quantitative data (Analytics & A/B-testing);

  • Experience using tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Jira;

  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written;

  • Experience with educational technology and designing for kids is a plus;

  • Experience with visual design is a plus.
