UX Designer

Job description

We are going to make something new for children in group 6-8. It will be fantastic, but we are still looking for a UX designer who wants to participate in this new adventure!

What can you do later

As a UX Designer, your goal is to make learning easy, smooth and insightful for the children and parents. You will be responsible for the user experience of the website, shop, web platform (also responsive) and any internal tools. A nice diverse challenge!

Your duties include the following:

  • Creating designs for our platform;

  • Collecting and analyzing UX related qualitative and quantitative data;

  • Design iterations based on data, team and user tests;

  • Create wireframes and clickable prototypes;

  • Set up and conduct user tests with parents and children to validate concepts and prototypes;

  • Close cooperation with marketing, development, product owner and business owner in an agile way of working.

  • Picking up other things that will undoubtedly come along. We are 1 team and we support each other!

Job requirements

Who are you?

You have experience as a UX designer and you have a good sense of beautiful UX. You know how to look at your designs from different perspectives so that you can make something beautiful for both parents and children. At the same time, you also understand that you are applying for a job at a startup. So you like to explore and test and are okay with letting go of your ideas if it doesn't resonate with users. 

To make it concrete, we are looking for someone with:

  • Master’s in Communication, Media Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design of andere relevante studie;

  • 3+ years of experience in UX design/interaction design;

  • Magical skills to render something complex elegantly;

  • Experience with user testing;

  • Proficiency in creating designs for quantitative tests (Analytics & A/B testing);

  • Experience with standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Jira;

  • Speaks and writes fluent Dutch and good English;

  • Experience with ed tech and design for children is a plus;

  • Experience with visual design is a plus.
