Frontend Developer


Futurewhiz, known from Squla & WRTS, is starting something new for kids in grades 6-8 and we are looking for someone that wants to be part of building a great e-learning platform!

What will you do as a Frontend Developer?

You will get the opportunity to work within an international team of skilled Full Stack-, Unity- and Frontend Developers. You get to use your expertise to make a real impact on the product! Every aspect of the platform is developed by our team, which makes Squla unique.

Our development team consists of 3 developers who work together with Product Owners, Designers, Content Specialists and Business Owners to build and make our product better each day. We implement agile processes, including Scrum, continuous integration and a focus on data driven optimisation.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building features that contribute to growing the Squla brand, its fun factor and ultimate effectiveness as a learning tool;

  • Taking part in planning sessions;

  • Testing your features and being fully responsible for them when they go live;

  • Troubleshooting live issues.


Who are you?

  • A degree in computer science or a comparable field

  • A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals

  • Good grasp of the Javascript ecosystem incl. language development, platforms, tools and best practices

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development

  • Experience with structured development processes, incl. build and test automation and version control

  • Hands on experience creating high performance API driven frontend web applications

  • A keen interest in providing a great experience for users

  • Experience collaborating with backend developers and UX designers
